First The name, X seriously wtf sort of name is X? I heard there's version called EXE-inatior-athor but just calling your horror character X is the same as elon renaming twitter X. Just somes of as cringy. Names like Clopsy and Reanimated Freddy aren't pinnacles of naming conventions or anything but I heavily doubt that a 9 year old who would see sonic.exe just like most of us did in 2015 would find the name "X" scary. Then theirs "LoRd X" which take what I said and multiply it by 2.

Second The story

From what I've read from J(E, you can guess what the E stands for ;))CtheHeyyna's original creepy pasta and whatever most update backstory their is for exe. He is a puff of black smoke with red eyes from hell who decided to posses a video game cartridge and make the games by Himself ( Info taken from some exe explained videos by toadbup and some other guys idk the name of so please correct if i'm wrong about something )

Guess it explains why the games suck but an "all powerful" demonic entity coding the most boring games alive sounds pretty funny in my option. Also I get this is a fnaf thing but having to explain every single little detail kind of takes away from the horror aspect of the horror game.

Third The Game

Also I know this is criticised a lot but most of these EXE games are just a Right arrow key Sim, Kind like how mouth washing to me is kind of a left clicking for about an hour Sim. But at least with mouth-washing their is actual gameplay not scary gameplay but still you actually do something instead of waiting for a (most likely stolen) scary image to show up. 2 examples of actually decent EXE gameplay is One Last Round because of how the it spices but and reimagines the original game and the sort of puzzle section with Eggman in the that one private demo that got released. As well as Sonic2EXE, The one that come out this year. Mostly the mighty Section which, is a bit short but I think with a bit more of that style gameplay implemented I think it could have improved a short ok experience. I have played spirits of hell and I'm pretty sure people say its one of the best sonic exe games ever can be summed up with

From a I though was cool until I found the creator made FNF mods. (Garn47) ( Never gonna touch FNF or it's "community" with a 1000ft pole )

This is all my opinion and if You disagree for any reason then that's ok. One actually good exe like a stated is One Last Round. I recommend playing repixeled and the cancelled eggman demo because to me I found those to have the most substance as well as Blue Flash drive ( the @VibingLeaf ) one if you aren't epileptic because having a game specifically meant to kill or at least harm unsuspecting people made by a weirdo is the scarier than any a poorly photoshopped demon sonic stand outside the doom 1 ending. I'm not joking look.
