Membrane is a brutally difficult, highly rewarding game based on cloth physics. Collect all the orbs as fast as you can, but try not to fall through! There are enemies that will tear the Membrane, and it can be damaged by your movement, as well. A short, sweet game of finesse and skill, Membrane is a refreshing new game from the creator of HeliHavoc!
Membrane was originally created from simply playing with cloth in Unity. I found that it was really fun to roll a ball around on the simulated cloth, especially if the cloth could be torn by agressive movement.
So, after playing with this for over an hour, I decided to just quickly make a game and have some more fun with it. The result is Membrane! The music is made by my friend Gamma Fusion:

It’s not a long game, but that is because the mechanic is simple, I wanted to keep it short so that we’re done with it before it becomes frustrating and stale. I feel I have succeeded in this aspect, although the game isn’t for everyone as it is very hard, I tried it at various difficulty levels, and this one gave the most robust planning and varied approaches to beat each puzzle. And, the changing nature of the playing field, both moving constantly under you and becoming destroyed, introduce a lot of interesting scenarios while playing, and I have seen some very interesting solutions (especially in the silver level).
Well, before this post gets too long, have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy Membrane!
