We did it guys, after more than 2 years I finally decided to fix the game that started it all. Seeing as I've learned a TON about game design and balancing over these past 2 years I figured I could fix those attacks that we're unfair and RNG heavy when it originally came out.
Such as Salt, and Not-Cannon.
Good times...
The game has NOT been overhauled. I did not want to completely change the game but rather just make it more fair. It's still the same game you played 2 years ago but with some added touches that make it better.
Every single attack has been balanced and modified in some way and is now more fair and is less likely to kill you because of bad RNG. Most attacks will play out the same but some needed to be slightly overhauled and will be different to be more predictable.
The art style has not been changed, but some sprites like the menu, mike's body and some attacks have ben polished to look (not ugly)
The dialogue which is a bit cringe and dated has NOT CHANGED AT ALL. Aside from a few spelling errors.
My goal with this update is NOT to reimagine what Mike could be, but is rather just a quality of life changes update that fixes the games major issues. The game will still have the same feel as before just with better design.
The game is not actually that different. This was just something I wanted to do for fun.
I have also added my iconic NO HIT option to the game which resets the battle instantly when you die. The game should also be easier to no hit now.
And if you don't like these new changes:
The old version is still available to download!
With the only changes made to it being a new title and tag to the main menu. So if you prefer the old one or never got to play it then it's still available on this page.
Please tell me what you think of these changes if you notice what's different!
I also thought about doing this with my other games but not much would change with them since they have much much much fewer flaws than this did.
You can also play both versions on scratch.
Happy Mikeing and happy new year again!
