So I’ve about nearly finished all the code for what I want in the Milestone 2, all thats really left is to tweak the graphics. The game itself is getting more gamier by this point, I’ve added another crop and the field now has weeds in it from the start that need to be cleared. The character graphics are getting upscaled as well, hopefully I plan to have all the walk cycles keyframed before I post milestone 2(currently its a three image cycle I’m wanting to make it six). Otherwise there’s two creatures running around and one you have to sorta work for. The first that comes stander is puplett your starter monster and its a general defensive type when enemies get coded in he’ll protect your farm. The second monster is a worm-like monster called a drilo, to get him to be officially part of the garden you have to hoe a few squares then you can use the new glove item to add him to your garden. After you add him to the roster then you can use his field ability; till, this will increase your field quality. in later iterations some crops will only be able to be grown if your field quality is high enough.
Outside of that there’s a barn which currently just looks pretty. hope to post the next version between the 25th or 30th, but it depends on how long making the graphics take.
