Monster Abilities List


Since some people have asked me in the past if I could share a list of the monster’s abilities, I thought now would be a good time to do it since the game’s been out for about a month now.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for both rare monster names and their abilities.

Common Monsters:

  1. DUL - Super Quiet

  2. Droner - Is cloaked

  3. Fly Man - Can go up ventilation shafts

  4. Squid Made of Tar - Can shoot tar that blinds the player

  5. Fish Freak - Lays goo traps that can immobilize the player for 4 seconds

  6. Martian - Can shoot two lasers every couple of seconds

  7. The Reptile - Can charge at the player during a chase

  8. The Blob - Lays keycard traps on the floor. When approached, it will spawn The Blob at it’s location.

  9. Rouge Tinfoil Robot - Can shoot one laser every couple of seconds but moves faster than The Martian

  10. The Slime - Can go up ventilation shafts and use the small vents on the walls to spawn from them. (It’s slower than The Fly Man I think)

  11. Dead Man - Can scream at the player during a chase, which stuns the player for about 2 seconds.

  12. Cheeva - Can sprint every 45 seconds outside of a chase to move around the map faster.

Rare Monsters:

  1. Xenomorph (From ALIEN) - Can go up ventilation shafts and is faster than The Slime and The Fly Man

  2. Berry The Bear (From Shopping Nightmare) - Can spawn Berry clones. When approached, will spawn Berry The Bear at it’s location.

  3. Monster Coach (From L4D2) Can charge during a chase but his charge lasts longer than The Reptile.

  4. Uber Jason - (From Jason X) Cannot be killed and can chase the player a lot longer than any other monster. But is the slowest of all the monsters.

  5. Dave Micromonster (That’s me!) - Shoots two hamburgers every couple of seconds.

  6. BUNKY (From BUNKY) - Will leave smoke cloud traps that can blind the player for three seconds.

I know some of you are hoping for a new update, but I think the game’s done for now. Who knows, maybe I’ll make a new rare monster some day if there’s enough of a demand for it and I have the extra time on my hands to make it.

Shmackus Bonkus will bonk and smash, but I've no doubt in my mind he can fix all your problems. Probably not your broken furniture, though.

Been itching to make a new small game again soon. Stuff like Slendy Something was such a blast to work on!

I be missing this game a lot, good ol' Scooby Horror Arcade. While I've been burnt out on making horror parody games, I sure as heck would love to make a sequel to this game in the future.

A game with pretty deep lore that I still treasure to this day would be Boofie's Bunker. Amazing game and had a lot more tied to it than I expected. #GJAsks

I think I'm hyperfixating on dinosaurs again

Been working on more goofy spooky stuff for Dave.EXE. Dropped a new bite sized update for the game today on Patreon in hopes of slowly building up a version of the game I'll be satisfied with releasing to the public on Steam. Hopefully this year!

My favorite retro game will always be 40 Winks and I'll die on this hill that it's a great underappreciated game.

It is still a very flawed game tho, I won't deny, LOL #RetroGameDay

Rob the Killer is back from the grave!

Over time the cast of Vex Clock went from being one dimensional to fully fleshed out characters with their own flaws and aspirations. Very happy in the long run that I took as long as I did to finish the game and develop their stories!
