Hey everyone,
Time really flew, and I forgot to make a post for last month, and I’m super sorry for that. However, things have been going according to plan, and the last couple of hours and Memory Maze have been worked on vigorously for the past month, so let’s get started!
5 AM Development:
5 AM has been my main focus of development over the past two months, as it’s an hour that needs a lot of new code and attention for it to be finished. Currently, all of the core gameplay has been implemented, and I just need to put everything together, tweak things, test it out, and it will be ready! It’s been a rocky road that has been in the works since the start of development over a year ago, and I’m super happy to see it all coming together.
Memory Maze Development:
Memory Maze has also been in the works, and I am getting a lot of things done for it. As I’ve stated before, Memory Maze is a side game that will tell the story of the main character, and fill in details left out of the story that was written in “The Sullivan Story: Prologue.” It has short ‘cutscenes’ to visualize the scenes, and all of those cutscenes are almost finished! I have a total of three people that have helped with the cutscenes so far, and each of them are incredibly talented, and I am super grateful that I have gotten in touch with them! At the end of this post is one of the newest animators for the cutscenes, who goes by Nue, and his work is absolutely incredible! Once all of the custscenes are audio are finished, it’s all a matter of testing it out and seeing if everything works, and then it will finally be released! It will be released before Treasure Island does, and hopefully it will keep you guys at bay while I finish up the last hours for the main game!
I am sorry for not posting in a while, it’s just been a rough month, however development on the game has been at a steady pace, and will hopefully be finished soon, so please bay with me for just a bit longer!
But Until Next Time,
Josh
