Hello everyone,
I watched all the endings of the game and now i can say that this game is definetly bad. In the front of the story, performance and character development.
Also, stop being so illusive, this game is bad and here's why, if you are blind kid, that doesn't care about it and want just consume FNAF merch - go away, you will cry if you will start a discussion with me.
Let's start from the story and it's endings;
Almost all of them are incredibly stupid and make no sense. Vanny - our main antagonist, appeared in the game only for 3 times, making this game way easier. We were having boss fights with robots and they were ok but Vanny? We did't really have anything to do with her. The ending where you save her lacks of emotion of any type. It's cute but we don't care about Vanny, we do not know her at all, there can't be compassion or any feeling for a character that i saw few times. I was rather glad to see her dead in the another ending. But that ending is really dumb too. Wait, you know that Vanny and Vanessa are two different characters? No? Oh my good, the freaking ARE. Uh, any explains Steal Wool? No? Great. Having 2 separate but identical characters is one of the most stupid ideas ever made. Is this making easier for the story? No it doesn't. And what about Glitchtrap? Where is he? Why i didn't see him in this game at all, because we see ANOTHER version of William in the basement, which actually blows me away. Blows me because how stupid it is to put yet ANOTHER VERSION of the Same character. That means they scrapped Glitchtrap AND Scraptrap. Oh my god... Is this ever gonna end someday? Molten Freddy is alive too, or... It's name is The Blob. How dumb is this now? Why he wasn't burned and released? Why William didn't die? Why StealWool ans Scott just destroyed The Ending of FFPS, which WAS emotional, and was actually ending the suffering of children and long live of William, who now must stay dead forever. You know, phrase "He always come back" now has a new fcking meaning. That means he is completely immortal and we will NEVER see him leave. The franchise will always try to MILK everything from what we love. Bad job. Vanessa - another important character that we do not discover at all. We see her only twice in the game, and not even the endings explain who is she, why she doesnt call the police and do i need feel anything towards her? I guess not. There is no much mystery in this game since it all has been ripped apart and now we have a mess of a story. Then, from all the mascot animatronics only Freddy was something unique and interessting to observe but the game lucks of dialog between him and Gregory. Wouldn't be cool to have more dialog? Freddy can tell stories about this place or just make a funny conversation, he is a god damn party maker robot thing, he must entertain me at least abit more. The endings when he dies lack of emotion too because we don't really fall in love with the character, we needed more moments where i can discover how truly good he is. Other robots... Well. Let me say - lack of phrases, lack of background story, repeating and glitchy gameplay and bad work on the models and rig bones. I do not say that style is bad, no, its ok, but the model it self, its unoptimized and has issues with its "bones". These models have been converted into Blender and studied. They have bad optimization and this makes the game work worse. What about their personality? Uh, Roxxane has a narcissistic disorder. Monty has rage issues and Chica? Welp, she eats trash and walks like a zombie. Thats all you get to know, they do not have any progress, or development through the game, they just change the skin to broken one - boom, that's all. One of the things i personally wanted is to CURE them all, not to destroy. How could have been if we had an ability to cure them so they can help us defeat Vanny in one of the endings. But we can't because developer's didn't want to take a smart and hard way to make a great game. The game lacks of enemy variety because all we get are same Security Robots and Teleporting Main antagonists to the point where you are. Why the mall wasn't devided into different sections where you had to expect different enemies. And some, like Vanny of Vanessa could reach you anywhere. But they don't. Whatever then, booring and glitchy game we have now. One of the things i understood from the beginning when i firstly heared the dialog betweem Freddy and Gregory is that the kid is not registered in the Guests list, and that means something. And i knew it - he is homepless and just sneaked in somewhere. And the game doesn't even explain how did this happen, at least in one of the endings Gregory could have mentioned it. Nope. So, i really don't know what to say else, the story i a pile of crap that was made in less then just a week. Also, comic style endings... They really didn't have to animate, didn't they? Bad.
Performance of the game is incorrect and problematic. It lags more then anything and i want you to know - I play Red Dead Redemption 2, an open world game with amazing graphics and i never had issues with making it run well on ultra settings. So why Security Breach is lagging and i can't really fix it? Also there is only ONE setting for the quality of whole graphics, ONE. Shadows are horrible, can i... Turn them off? Or use a smoth setting that can fix them. There is no VERTICAL SYNC is the game! Incredible! Half of the Textures are super pixilated for some reason, did they fix it untill 22 of December? 5 days after the release, no they did not. Many times i had issues with the map, it didn't pre load it in time so i see black space often infront of me. Is this on purpose so i can discover easily secrets of the game? Hm. Let's don't talk about how stupid and glitchy AI is, because teleporting issues are actually breaking everything in this game, specially atmosphere. At first i was thinking this game can give you great challenges but when i restarted to play the game a second time, i finished first half in one hour which is incredible because game is making you mostly run between different locations, thats it. From A to B. Scripted boss battles and encounters like Vanny or Vanessa that i see just a couple of times. This game is NOT big at all, its a running simulator. Not SNEAKING, or crouching. But you can easily run around and don't have problems at all if you know how to deal with them all.
Listen, this game is bad, in all the definition of meaning. Bad gameplay, bad story, lazy endings and no character development at all. It ruins the past games and makes horrible mistakes with the designs. It had potential to become something incredibly good but it failed. The game doesnt worth bying it right now at all, wait for the discount if you want to play this mess. Game it self is a disappointing unfinished piece of an indie crap that shits on the legacy of the past games that made this franchise enjoyable and interessting. And DONT even say that i can give them time to finish something, they stole my 40$ basicaly and first what i get is boring gameplay, lame story and bugs. Uh, main menu is so simple and dum, even fan mades were interesting and creative. Once we had games with almost NO bugs because developers had time to finish it and test it, now, lastest releases even made by big companies are bad - GTA Triology Remaster, Battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk2077 and many more, including Security Breach. Steal Wool definetly should have released a Demo and take more time. They are indie devs, yes, but took incredibly big game to make and failed. I was working in there, i wouldn't make it happen. If i was the game designer and director - i could have made made the best game in the franchise.
