In 1981, William Afton and Henry Emily had the idea of an animatronic pizzeria, one that would match the likes of Chuck E Cheeses. Afton was very excited for the project, and over-joyed when he found out that it would be a definite production. Emily was actually not very enthusiastic about the project, as poor Henry was to create and construct all 4 animatronics; Fredbear, Spring Freddy, Spring Bonnie, and a Marionette. After the animatronics were complete, Afton was promotionalize. Emily was lightly credited in Afton’s illustrations, and when Henry found out, the anger began an argument. The argument was so bad that Afton left Emily 15 minutes later. William came home to his kids in a similar situation.  Afton’s children babysitter had left 3 hours ago, and it showed. Afton sent all of is kids to bed at once. Sadly, William didn’t know that everything would become worse soon enough. William came back the next day to apologize, but Henry was not there. Instead, his daughter Charlotte was outside. Charlie and William maturely talked for a few minutes, until William got angry, and after 2 minutes of a fight, punched Charlie HARD in the face. William walked inside the pizzeria looking away from an unconscious Charlotte. Inside Fredbear’s, The Marionette animatronic saw the situation via the video camera at the back of the place. It exited the location and, in the pouring rain, landed on Charlie without prompt. Once Afton came back out, he felt guilty. He decided to pick Charlie up. When he exited, the Marionette grabbed him and strangled him. Afton eventually won and tossed the animatronic into his animatronic research room. Henry never found Charlie’s body. Charlie’s younger brother was next. William infused Sammy into a prototype Spring Bonnie toy. The tests gave Afton lots of info, until the point he started going insane, and unlike he agreed to, he did not re-transfer Sammy back into his human form. So instead, Sammy decided to get back on the now, Maniac and haunt Afton every night as PlushTrap. This would continue to drive William Afton even more crazy. Henry eventually figured out that his kids were missing and confronted Afton. The SpringBonnie cried for help and reached for his father, but couldn’t make it far enough. Henry quickly found out what was happening and ordered Afton to get his child back, and William did. He also gave the Marionette to Emily and gave his partner a note. Henry came back the next day trying to kill William. He knew FredBear’s couldn’t open.
