my idea for how to make fnac 3 gameplay better

Monster Rat and Monster Cat will both attempt to enter the room throughout the night, until one of them eventually gets in and starts the 'battle' sequence.

If Monster Rat is the one that enters, then you will have to shine him in the eyes like normal, as he moves his head around in a triangular shape. However, when Monster Rat goes under the bed, Monster Cat will appear on either side of the bed. The player must quickly ward off Monster Cat with their flashlight before checking under the bed for Monster Rat. The rest of the sequence will play out the same.

If Monster Cat is the one that enters, then you will have to shine him in the eyes like normal, but he will instead move his head around in a rectangular shape instead of triangular. When Monster Cat goes under the bed, Monster Rat will appear at the tape player. The player must look at Monster Rat for a moment to ward him off before checking under the bed for Monster Cat. Unlike Monster Rat, you must look at the side that you see Monster Cat on, and wait for him to crawl up from the opposite side, before shining his eyes.
