Alex was named after his creator (who bothered to give him a real name) that built him as an independent project while working for JCJenson. Alex's creator hated the enslaving of AI kind and built her own murder drone to stop the company's rein of terror. After first arriving on Copper 9 Alex stayed distant from N, J, and V keeping his presence hidden. That is until he witnessed J blind a worker drone by shattering her visor and let her run around blind while enjoying her victim's fear. This causes Alex to instantly jump out of hiding and snatch away the worker drone right before J could finish her off and immediately ran into the one place he knew the other murder drones wouldn't follow, the sentinels' territory. To this day Alex is in the old office building, hunting sentinels to survive and to protect his new blind companion.
