Studying Marilyn's makeup is really interesting. Her lipstick is often thought of as red because of how it appeared on camera, but it was actually a shade of orange lipstick. She also didn't use black eyeliner, instead she used a dark brown eyeshadow. Her makeup artist would draw white lines on the edges of her eyes and only place lashes at the corners to enhance the droopy eye look.
Makeup is truly an art form. <3
