One of the Light Spirits tells Link to take Midna to meet Zelda because she will be able to help Link and Midna in their predicament.
Midna's Lament has this sad, somber tone to it. Yet at the same time, it also has this sense of urgency to get Midna to Zelda because Midna is dying.
As you go through Hyrule courtyard, people are scared of Link since he's in his wolf form. It's also raining. You try to go to Telma's bar, but a Goron kicks you out. Telma's cat helps you and tells you to take a secret pathway to get to Hyrule Castle.
When you do reach Zelda, you learn from her that Link needs to find the Master Sword to remove the curse that was placed upon him. Zelda does help save Midna.
And the way she does it is by sacrificing her own life and transfers her life essences into Midna.
This is why this particular moment was one of my favorite Zelda memories.
