I am BACK!!

Yes, that is the exact video that I return to Youtube with, and now it is the video I return to GameJolt with, as well. This is my official announcement on GameJolt that my hiatus has ended. I have started making YouTube content again in addition to continuing work on the game! I intend to work on it a bunch in the next week and a half while I can’t really do much else, too.

I have had a multitude of ideas change throughout the time I’ve been on hiatus, one of which may drastically change how the game begins, but, it’s a lot to explain in one paragraph and it would give a bunch of stuff away, so I’m just going to leave it at that and work on it one step at a time.

Aside from that, I did actually add a couple things into the game a long time ago that I never mentioned. Additional player colors have been added to the game, as well as a new save engine and a feature that has been highly requested by basically everyone. All of this, however, is subject to change depending on how people react in testing, which is ludicrously far off in the future anyway. Until then, I’ll just see how I feel about it. The game isn’t really in a state that I would call “playable” or “coherent” yet… Dear god, I’m gonna be doing this game for quite a while, aren’t I?

Back on the subject of my YouTube content, I have just recently started playing Doki Doki Literature Club. I have managed to remain mostly spoiler-free and I have been told that it is going to be an interesting ride, so I’m very excited to play it. In fact, that’s basically the best way to support me is to indulge me in my YouTube content.

Anyways, I will hopefully make significant progress (comparatively, of course) on VODIII over the next week or so, but until then, I do have YouTube content scheduled to go up every Monday, Wednesday and Friday so check that out in the meantime. Yes, I am plugging my own stuff really hard here, but to be fair, all of this is what I like to do most and I really don’t have much else to be proud of.
