Believe it or not there are actually some colour variants in the original kirby games of the waddle dees that appear in some levels
I actually quite like the idea of there being other coloured waddle dees as it's pretty neat to see what colour variations there are :3 so i did this with making modern sprite versions of them in the same way as my modern kirby and waddle dee sprite edits ^^
Granted they're not exactly right (like the one in the middle as the original sprite of it and the actual variant that stayed in the series is a light orange while here i accidentally didn't do that. This is why reference pics are always important) but i like how they turned out and i hope you do too :3
