A cute but glitchy creature that lives inside the fractures of the Dark World, between corrupted data and glowing smiles.
I’m still building its full story, but it already has its own chaotic personality (and a LOT of friendly glitches).
✨ What do you think?
✨ Would you use it as a secret NPC or a mini-boss?
🐾 OC – CAT-5D (Multidimensional Feline Entity)
Name: CAT-5D
Nickname: “Depth Kitty” / “Abyss Cat”
Classification: Stellar Mascot / Friendly Cosmic Glitch
Type: 5D Void Creature
Origin Dimension: “Starner Sector / 5D Voidline”
Description
CAT-5D is a pixelated cat that exists across multiple layers of the Dark Code. Its body seems to break apart into glowing squares, like a creature that is constantly trying to finish rendering but never quite does. Its eyes shift between green and pink, giving it a mysterious-but-cute cosmic charm.
Personality
Charismatic but unsettling
Mischievous: steals tiny “reality fragments” for fun
Loves floating silently behind people just to lightly spook them
Obsessed with corrupted data and glowing objects
Abilities
Depth Warp: Teleports between layers of existence like walking through hallways.
Pixel Drip: Leaves small energy squares that cause friendly glitches.
Smile Corruptor: Its glowing smile distorts nearby colors.
Fifth Sight: Perceives entities and data that shouldn’t exist.
Role in a Deltarune-style game
CAT-5D could be a friendly mini-boss, an Abyss creature that just wants to play, or a secret NPC that guides the player to hidden routes.
✨ Inspiration Behind This 5D Cat Drawing ✨
For this artwork, I wanted to capture the kind of strange, cute, and slightly unsettling energy you feel from characters in Deltarune. Toby Fox’s creative style—mixing charm, mystery, and glitchy humor—was a big influence on how I shaped this creature.
The idea was to design something that looks friendly at first glance, but the longer you stare at it, the more its strange multidimensional nature shows through.
The neon colors, broken pixels, and floating shapes all come from the concept of a “cat that exists between frames,” like a character trying to load inside a corrupted Dark World.
I also tried to give it the vibe of those secret or optional characters Toby Fox loves to hide—beings that feel out of place but still full of personality.
CAT-5D isn’t just a creature; it’s meant to feel like a glitch that decided to become your friend.
Let me know what you think of this style! :D
