Abyss Monarch Cookie searched the dark halls, scanning for any possible danger. As they wandered cluelessly around, strange echoing sobs played like a haunted music box in a horror movie.
“H-hello…? Who’s there…?” The second Abyss Monarch Cookie spoke, swift footsteps ran through distant halls, as if someone was trying desperately to escape from the enormous, creaking mansion both Cookies currently stood in. “H-hello…!?” Abyss Monarch Cookie called out for a second time. “…Is anyone there?”
“N-no-! No one’s there-!” An echo responded, their voice shaking. “I-I’m fine-!”
Abyss Monarch Cookie began running around the labyrinth of a mansion to find this mysterious Cookie wandering around with them. As the footsteps grew louder, they heard the sound of sharp metal grinding on a rotting wooden floor. They slowed their run into a cautious walk and started turning corners more warily than before. Eventually, they found themself standing with said mysterious Cookie. Despite the other Cookies clear signs of fear, eye contact remained unbroken.
“Who are-…?” Abyss Monarch Cookie was cut off before they could even hesitate.
“N-no one-! Go away-! Leave-! I hate everything and everyone-!” Their eye contact finally broke as the unknown Cookie turned around and tried to scramble away.
“Hey-! Don’t go-!” Abyss Monarch Cookie grasped the Cookie’s hand and pulled them back towards themself. “I’m not going to hurt you, I just want to who you are.” They reassured the Cookie.
“Why would you care? You never did! And that’s why you don’t even remember your own BROTHER!!” The Cookie let out a loud embarkation of clamouring.
“W-what-!? I- I don’t-!” Abyss Monarch Cookie was startled by their ‘brother’s’ sudden yammering. (Finish it later)
