1 - Build
Within the past month or so, development has slowed down a bit. Just due to lack of passion and interests in other projects but this definitely doesn't mean that the game is dead in any means. Development is still rolling even though it is a tad bit slower, nonetheless the next build is still coming and it is going to be a million times better than the last unintelligible builds.
This new update brings the beginning of mod support, characters, the starting of story mode, further improved character code, selectable characters in general and even more I wish not to spoil here.
Can't pinpoint when it will release but it definitely has it's sights set for Late February through Mid March so there still is a bit of sitting around before that releases.
2 - GitHub
Lately the GitHub hasn't been updated at all since the changes made within the last commit would take an eternity to upload. But before the next build is released, a new commit will be sent through.
3 - Engine Update
So as of writing this, Godot Engine 4.0 is on the very edge of releasing and it brings a whole new suite of additions, fixes and changes the the engine and editor. Many of these changes can benefit the development of South Park 64 Remake but unfortunately makes it less compatible with some older machines as the visual updates can strain older GPU's and integrated ones.
Ever since the beginning we wanted this game to be ran on any machine it touches, just so anyone would be able to give it a try even on their 2012 intel dual core laptop all the way up to complete room warming gaming desktop powerhouses without any setup or problems. This new Godot update may narrow down compatibility so the final decision is up in the air for now.
Even then, we'll make a copy of the code and try it out on it's own and give you a build when the time comes.
4 - Closing statements or something.
