This chapter would take place in a steampunk-themed world, where Kris and Susie begin in a desert or barren wasteland of some sort, with the view of a city and Dark Fountain in the distance. They travel through the wasteland, solving puzzles and battling enemies in typical Deltarune fashion, until they reach the gates of the city, where they are greeted by Ralsei.
Ralsei explains that the Dark Fountain is contained within a skyscraper in the center of the city which is controlled by the chapter's boss. Kris leads the party to the center of the city, where they meet the boss for the first time. This boss is merged with the city's power system, acting as a funnel for the Dark Fountain's energy.
The boss leaves, and the party enters the tower. This tower has four floors:
Floor 1 - Contains enemies and puzzles that need to be solved to progress.
Floor 2 - This floor houses a glass chamber containing the only seedling in the Dark World, which is also the only organic matter. More on this seedling later.
Floor 3 - Contains more difficult versions of the enemies and puzzles from Floor 1.
Floor 4 - This floor is where the final fight of this chapter occurs, and also holds the Dark Fountain that the boss is guarding.
Before or after the party fights this chapter's boss, they can search the tower for three keys (or something similar) which will unlock the glass chamber on the second floor.
Unlocking the chamber will cause the seedling to grow into a huge treelike monster, who will attack the player in order to take their SOUL. If they succeed, they will use it to dethrone the chapter's main boss and spread flora throughout the Dark World.
At the end of the chapter, as always, Kris will use their soul to seal the Dark Fountain, destroying the Dark World.
A quick note about this idea - This is not a chapter prediction, just a hypothetical chapter that I would love to see made reality. I may even begin developing this as a fangame if enough people want to help me make it.
