The description is no longer:
"A 8-bit Sci-fi RPG about a robot named Jonathan and his close buddies exploring their city, Cyburneticut. The city of Cyburneticut is a dystopian place set in a future of robots where humans are extinct."
But now...
Cyburnetic takes place in a dystopian future where humans have gone extinct, and a new robotic species called Screenoids now rule the world. These humanoid androids have large, boxy TV-like heads, each with a unique screen color and face that reflects their individuality. Despite being machines, Screenoids can reproduce and feel emotions.
You play as Jonathan, a 19-year-old Screenoid who has spent most of his life caring for his younger sister, Kai, after the loss of their mother. Their father, always away on business trips, has been absent for most of their lives, leaving Jonathan to shoulder the burden of raising Kai alone. Life is difficult but manageable, with the help of his two closest friends: Sam, a laid-back yet loyal companion, and Aidyn, a high school senior trying to balance the pressures of school with the challenges of this dystopian world.
As Jonathan’s life begins to unravel, he and his friends find themselves entangled in a dangerous battle against the oppressive government, the treacherous world of corrupt leaders, rebel forces, and personal demons to protect those they love.
Can you unravel the truth behind the Screenoid world and bring down the forces that control it, or will you become just another part of the system?
Crazy, I know!!
And the box art (If ever a physical release) is attached to the post! I might redo Sam and Aidyn, but I think it's fine for now.
What do you think???
