Hello folks. If you read this yesterday: https://gamejolt.com/p/important-announcement-this-is-not-meme-unless-real-health-compl-qsspvetv or not, no problems. However, my knees decided yesterday: Hospital on my own with almost no possible use of both knees (but, I reached the hospital doors anyway *victory dance*).
After waiting 13 hours in the waiting room, I finally see a doctor (maybe spoiler: I didn't sleep for 30 hours between going to the hospital and going back home), and the doctor did send me an x-ray. Imagine how bad my knees were for the x-ray girl had to rush between placing the camera and pressing the button so much I had almost no control of my knees.
After the x-ray, I waited between one and two hours before being called to see the results with the doctor.
The doctor came in, and the results were not what I was expecting.
I will skip the first part for not being important in this post, but she also said that the x-ray was showing a mouse joint inside the joint of both knees (the reason why my knees were blocking constantly).
If you wonder what is a mouse joint, imagine this inside the joint of both knees in me:
A bone fragment fell inside the knee joint. I didn't get any accidents tho. I don't know where this came from, but this is life, right?

Now, let's see:
Halloween is in two days, so two days to finish "The blood doctor" following my planned release date.
What I have yet:
I have the floor and the walls of the map.
I have the main menu (credit menu too).
I have the blood doctor enemy static sprites for the game.
I have the VST I will use to make the main gameplay music. (Official gameplay music can be done in a maximum of 30 min).
What I don't have yet:
Animated blood doctor sprites with After Effects.
I have the voice changer, but I didn't do yet the acceptable TTS voice yet for the blood doctor dialogues.
No player sprites yet (must animate and do a little SFX with my voice too).
Create the sprites of the doors and the levers (easy, but to make).
Intro cinematic with After Effects.
Bad ending with After Effects.
Populate the rooms of the maps (easy, but to be made).
Coding (can be done completely in a few hours once all tasks above are done).
QA (My rules, no broken can be released at all times).
---------------
If you are smart, you guessed right. No way I can do all this myself in 2 days. So, I will delay "The blood doctor" for November 5, 2022.
I know this date is not Halloween, but remember the situation I'm in right now, and that I'm alone to create my games. I could rush it at extreme speed. However, we ALL know that rushed are not always good and playable.
I rather choose quality over speed.
See you next Saturday for "The blood doctor" hoping I will find a way to not get it taken down by GJ itself for the amount of blood and gore (I try to respect TOS, I swear *insert trembling emoji*).
Note: Yes, the amount of blood and violence, even if the game is rated mature, can be taken down easily if I'm not cautious with the control of violence for this psychological horror.
Have a nice day, folks!
