In my universe, there is a “grim reaper” Tho with a little twist

This “reaper” is only behind humans killing other humans, every time someone is killed, renn is secretly controlling the killer, but neither the killer nor the victim know this.

though renn rarely takes a physical form, when she does. She has a scythe, like any stereotypical grim reaper, and when this scythe opens a wound it stays open forever.

Though there is one thing…

Renn doesn’t want to kill

When renn was alive on earth, she accidentally stumbled upon the scythe while on a caving expedition in greenland, she picked it up and, unknowingly, was cursed forever.

Two days later, she died from the Black Death, although this disease had been fully cured, the curse gave it to her.

Once she died, she didn’t move on to whatever afterlife there may be, she became a spirit, and is now forced to watch as something takes control of her and kills someone every time a murder is committed.

Though once the murder is done, and before the next one happens, she can move freely.

Her coat sleeves are always covered in blood, and not from the victims she’s killed, the blood comes off as soon as the murder is done…

Every time she kills a child, she leaves a cut on her arm, using the scythe, a cut that can never heal.
