The Lone House

It was a cold night in Amasis Town.  A night that was cold and lonely. It was a night that Calvin Sullivan liked. Amasis Town was always lonely and creepy.      The town had a bad reputation due to all the missing people and murders that occurred frequently. There was the Amasis Town Death Cellar that was always talked about in the town, the serial killer known as the censor, and the strange creature known as bloodwork. It was a dangerous town to be in and most people who lived there were all on edge. One night Calvin Sullivan was in his old creaky home on Snake Road. He decided to sit in his recliner and watch T.V. after feeding his dog Moss. He heard his dog barking than the dog started to whine. He went to check on it and he saw nothing but paw prints on the floor. He followed them and found a hole inside was nothing but a key. It was his house key.

He reached down to pick it up and went back inside, but he heard loud creaking noise upstairs. He went to investigate. He went up the stairs one at a time each one creaking as he stepped upon it. He went to his room where the creaking came from and found Moss dead. He screamed and ran downstairs but saw a man. He was holding a razor-sharp knife he screamed again and ran but tripped on a loose floorboard. The man smiled at Calvin as he stepped closer over each creaky floorboard and stabbed him to death. No one knows what happened to the house but all that remained was a single lone floorboard where          the lone house once stood……
