New Things for Smashed Space


Okay so new things first.

  1. Homing missiles. These badboys will home in on the mouse cursor and will explode after 2 seconds (subject to change). They do the same damage as the unguided bullets and lasers but are slower.

    Important thing with the missiles. I do not own the missiles sprites above (not showing them all) I found these online and could not find who made them so if whoever made these sprites sees this and would like me to remove them I would be glad to. They are cool looking missiles, props to the artist.

  2. Dialog. Currently the actually dialog its self is done but im working on getting it to look pretty. The box that the words are in is from the asset and is not mine, it’s just a placeholder for now.

  3. Debris. Im working on making it si that when you kill a ship some random debris with the same color palette spawn ands fly and different directions. I have some stuff working but im working on adding it to all of the ships and make it look a little better.

Next up

Little Update So I have fixed a bug that has been breaking the shop. But hey now it works and i have even put in a description for the ships. Now im going to keep working on the debris and soon reworking the starting cutscene.

Let me introduce you to the new Mech line: Gendai Spec. Those are Mech that specializes in surprise attacks, covered operations, and stealth. They are equipped with melee weapons but one of Gendai's frames supports sniper rifles.
