New version with voice recognition and speech synthesis released!

I have just uploaded a new version with voice synthesis and voice recognition. Go ahead and play the game using your own voice! Also, robots will answer with their own voice too :-)

More stores

If you prefer, you can also download the game from the Microsoft Store. I will maintain both stores from now on. The Microsoft store has some advantages over downloading the zip, like automatic updates, the feedback hub, and helpful metrics for me to understand how people use the game.

Talking English

Remember that you have to talk in English :-). If you are not a native English speaker, the voice recognition may not be optimal. For English speaking players, you may want to know that I have set the locale settings to United States English (the largest chunk of downloads came from there). I will add a setting to select other variants in the future.

Technical (and financial) details

I am using Azure Cognitive Services to add voice features. This is a pay per use service, but with a number of free interactions per month. I don’t expect the game to cost me money most months, but we will see. I might add a pay as you want option, so you can help me cover the server expenses if they grow prohibitive.

Have fun!

I hope you try and enjoy this new version! Please, let me know what you think of this approach in the comments. Thank you for playing!

Chiaki Nanami!

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!

Another house i made long time ago.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?
