i think i’ll start making more levels and music. i want to make an overworld so that players can travel between groups of levels (chapters), but i’m unsure if it will add anything to the game. would like more variety in the challenges, larger spaces and longer levels, but given the current “instant death/instant restart” mechanics the game is built upon, this doesn’t seem likely. checkpoints/shields/multiple lives are the obvious solutions, but it might water down the challenge. experimentation might reveal a better solution, but in the end, sometimes these things don’t work out: the levels aren’t as high quality, too much work, etc. i don’t i will make a narrative, but we’ll see. thanks for playing.
