No spoilers but, the new fnaf 2 movie trailer gives me alot of hope.

Not to be a hypocrite, since I'm pretty sure I said I loved the first Five Nights at Freddy's movie (which I still do), but I've found myself a bit frustrated with some things about it.

It's mostly just little things, making you frustrated with certain plot points of the movie.

I think the movie was good, looking at its plot on paper, it's simple, and I mean that in a good way. Everything comes together pretty well.

However, in execution, stuff like: How on earth does Vanessa have so much free time on her hands? Why doesn't she stop her father sooner? And generally, how the main animatronics don't get to do much, while the cupcake gets a lot of kills, which, in my opinion, ruins the movie. When the main cast only gets a few kills while this stupid plastic cupcake seems like the most powerful thing ever, it doesn't make you take it seriously, now does it?

But overall, it's still a decent movie. I'd give it a 7/10.

I do find stuff like the cupcake funny but in retrospect I think we gotta realize that's not good in the long run.

Now, back on point: this new trailer shows me so far that there are definitely improvements to the plot issues I had with the first film. And while it isn't out yet, I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think this film will be a major improvement over the first one, which really excites me! I was hoping the second film would be way better than the first after I had watched it and therefore hopfully become my favorite.

It's overall seemingly also going to be more faithful to the game, since it's, well... a video game adaptation. Yeah, forgot the first film was supposed to be an adaptation? I do too sometimes, I get you shouldn't force your movie to have everything from the game, but why was there no security door? You could've easily put it in your movie.

Like, why not the opening with the nightguard who dies? Instead of barricading the door, he has it closed while entering the vent, and then when we transition to Mike, the door button is ripped out. It would suck that that's all the door would get to do, but at least it's faithful.

It seems that problem has been fixed here with clever tactics. I won't say more, as I don't want to spoil anything, though.

Go look for yourself:

The Vigo launcher is done, thanks to Jarate. The accompanying footage is also from him.

In other news, the other new weapon being introduced in this mod is also making progress.

One of the TRTF Deathmatch maps will literally involve you killing each other right outside of Fazbear Inc. I just thought that would be so funny that I had to make it a map.

It's still a work in progress of course, but I thought I might as well share.

guess who's going to gamescom tomorrow

Okay I lied when I said the game was releasing on Friday, because I released it just now! I'm so evil, muahahaha!

The game is now open source, enjoy doing whatever you plan on doing with this information.

First playtest done by @Lord2903 , Feedback was "You made a good game" so I think I'm in the clear.

I'm aiming for a Friday release however no promises, we'll see, I can promise you I'll try my best.

Sweet, sweet jesus

This is Speedy, a character from a major update I planned for this game that was canceled about a year ago

Fun Fact:

In the files of One Night at Springtrap's 1 there exists images of an unused blink meter

These could've been the replacement for the toxic meter or you could've just blinked every few seconds

It also could've been related to a vent seal

fazbear, har har har har har har har har har har, har har har har, har har har har. (happy anniversary!)
