So basically during one elimination ring was supposed to get eliminated but scarf moved him out the way of the portal and scarf fell down it and ended up in the eliminated contestants room to keep ring in the game after a bit of angst during the time of the show they made up before the elimination and scarf couldn't stand hearing ring get eliminated yeah he made a sacrifice for ring that's how you know scarf loves ring
