The reason Fazbears Pizzeria (from FNAF) uses doors that consume power is because these doors have to constantly push down just to make sure the animatronic can't open the door. These doors are piston based (or mechanical to be honest). You can't just close regular door and expect animatronic to go away, they see you (as night guard)
