Honestly, most of this checks out. I’m really surprised I’m in the top 0.1% of Amalee listeners. I mean, I know I looped her covers a ton but I’m still surprised

Also Aviators is amazing


It’s also interesting that my top track was “Shed No Grace on Me”, since it’s one of the less memorable songs I listened to now, looking back on it. (Still great!!)

I’d say the most memorable song I’ve listened to this year was probably “Hell has an Elevator” by Aviators. I didn’t listen to it nearly as much though, some songs are harder to listen to a ton. Know what I mean?

I think the past few days the song I’ve listened to the most is Backlight from One Piece Film Red (which I haven’t seen but now kinda want to). First Amalees cover, then the original. Loved the cover but there’s some emotion in the originals vocals that just can’t be beat. Major “who hurt you and how can I help you hurt them back?!” vibes

Anyways, I think quickest falling-in-love with a song award has got to go to “Passing Through” literally the exact opposite vibe of backlight (both of which I project my own emotions into funnily enough). Literally discovered it through a meme here on Game Jolt yesterday morning. Made me shed a tear. My eyes are usually a little watery in the morning anyways because biology but still!
