Notice: There is a visual bug on one of the decor items, where it says it unlocks at tank level 20 but this is not the case. It's simply displaying the wrong requirement, this is unlockable and 100% completion is possible. I'll fix this soon.

Next up

Simple arcade-y puzzle block game prototype. It's actually pretty fun and was fairly low effort. Puzzle game coming soon maybe?

Been having a lot of fun tinkering with this, added some sound and visual flair. It's also really satisfying to me seeing the board clear, maybe that's just me.

Been working on a lot of game feel, UI polish. And I got some feedback externally. It's so juicy and nice to play. The core loop is done, now I just need to add content and things

Working on a breeding mechanic. You might be able to breed egg specific mutations that can benefit or harm your fish. Some are visual only such as markings on the fish, but other factors are things such as social level, rarity, required water and temps.

Sorry for the spam lol but one more thing, snow visuals are improved. Including a slight frosted glass effect and way more dense snow. Winters are very snowy in FinLab! Snowstorms can last days.

Spent a lot of time fixing bugs today. Turns out the trading bug from before was not fixed, but now it works. But this is (technically) a trail and trade spin off so I added this arcade-y -+ resource text on buildings. Pretty cool.

I have built some new stuff. Tiles now have yields (civ style), tech tree got a visual pass, and now you can see a heads up on what's being sent/taken/produced.

FinLab 1.1.0 (Time & Temp) is here! This update brings a more mechanically deep experience, changes to the core loop, some fixes/changes + some more fish and decor, there is a LOT so here is the full changelog below:

Working on some game juice and the new "special" block

After spending hours debugging a CPU player, I gave up and added a timer instead. Also made this sprite of my OC who may or may not be the protagonist. She even reacts to combos. I still have ideas of how I can expand the timer + more ideas for the game.
