What a busy past couple of months, huh?
We've been hard at work to provide the best for the project and you, our loyal fans. Through thick and thin, our development team has been busy to make this game a reality.
Now let's get into the nitty gritty, shall we?
What is a 'Tenacious Road' anyways?
The general idea of the game is that there was a child, between the yellow and red souls, that was never collected by Asgore and used for the barrier. As for the trait of Tenacity, the game never specifies that there are only seven soul traits, does it?
For the game itself, it's being written in Unity. The game is currently in a very alpha state, with core gameplay features being polished and worked on daily.
Some said features include,
A Battling System (Framework Finished, Polish Next)
Main Menu & Saves (Mostly Finished)
Overworld Hazard System (Framework Finished, Polish Next)
Overworld Menus & Movement (Mostly Finished)
So don't fret, the game is being worked on!
But remember, nothing is set in stone and can be changed in the future.
The CORE Pipeworks
Area design courtesy of Parsa-zare!
The first region of the game is the CORE Pipeworks, a fluid and waste distribution system that goes throughout the underground.
Jack lands here after the ground collapses from under him whilst on Mt. Ebott, resulting in a harsh concussion and weakened state.
The general idea for this region is that it's very puzzle centric, with water and steam being front and center of the Pipeworks.
Concepts & Behind the Scenes
Were you wondering who Jack was talking to in the image at the beginning of this article? That would be Bella, sister of ██████! She's one tough cookie, but like all good cookies, she's soft at heart.
Fun fact, that's who Jack is trying to be in the Halloween version of our icon!
Do you remember our animated teaser? This is the first concept of that animation! Thank you, Leafaine!
Oh, and another.
What's next?
Well, we keep working on the game, that's what! This isn't even half of what we have cooking in the kitchen, courtesy of our development team.
But... I guess I can show a little more of what's to come...

Whoops... I uh, also dropped this music teaser here...
Thank you for reading until the end of this newsletter, until next time, we'll meet again.
