Happy Hallowing !
Wait did I spell that right ? Googles it
Happy Halloween!
Development is slow for now as in the current stage of the engine, only I can work on it. But despite that progress have been made.
Progress in general
How I imagined to make this project a little less overbearing is by breaking it down into smaller chunks of work. Before we proceed, I have to tell that no release date declared in this devlog is official and is likely to be pushed. So here's the plan :
First we will cook an alpha demo, a technical demo that will showcase the engine we're using making sure every fundamental bricks of the game works well and is correctly documented. We are actually on this stage and planning on finishing it in mid November-ish ? I'll do a poll to see if you guys want me to share the alpha at that time but it will not contain much.
Second thing we will do is put together the Combat demo, it was first planned to be released during Christmas but at this pace, even new year seems unrealistic.
Third is the area demo which may take way too much time
Then, The full game that will release 99 years from now, get your calendars ready and mark the date.
