Hiya!
It's been a while since I wrote one of these, but working on the demo took all my time and energy. Not gonna lie, there have been a few setbacks along th way, but we got there in the end.
So today I'd like to thank all of you.
Over 1500 people downloaded the demo from GameJolt and Itch.io combined. Both sites featured the demo, so it could reach more people.
Awesome gameplay videos are recorded for YouTube, some fans even stream their experience! There were some laughs, some frustrations (THAT DAMN DUCK!!!) and some much needed feedback.
Overall, it seems you are enjoying this little sneak peak into this weird Oddventure I'm creating. And that's amazing.
So thank you all for this. It's a big confidence booster and it makes me want to work even harder, to finish the game.
Because I'm not planning on slowing down.
First of all I'd like to hear some more comments on the demo. What did you like? What didn't you like? What would you change? All feedback is welcome. You can share your opinions on Discord if you'd like.
Second of all, Kickstarter is on the way. We're in the process of creating some stuff for the backers, setting goals and all that jazz. I can't exactly say when Oddventure's Kickstarter will lauch, but it's soon-ish.
Third of all, a kick-ass trailer is in the works. So stay tuned!
In the meantime - Stay Odd!
THANK YOU!
