Hey, does anyone know how to get Cheats working with Checkpoint?

I found a "My Arcade, Gamer V"
My Friend gave it to me for no reason and I found some things.
1: I found the UI broken but when I clicked reset it fixed it
2: If you hold A & B then turn it on or click reset when on it shows a tool to test the controls.
