Game
SCP-3199

OK, little pep-talk to myself really helped, cause I was on FIRE this week! Among other things, I'm adding landmarks to the map and started work on a new model, the deer! (don't get attached lol)

Have to travel for work, so I'm not able to do too much this time. Made a bridge though! Still scary, in a pinch...

This gif more or less summarizes my mental state the last month.

I'm trying to jump back into 3199, but updates may be more spaced out for a while. I'm really sorry for the delays, but life has been hectic recently with no signs of slowing down soon.

Finally finished the chicken skeleton model. Still need to paint the model white black & poke some holes in it. I never want to make a skeleton model ever again now. Also, I hate silkie chicken feet. Both for modelling, and as just a thing that exists.

It's still very early in development, but I've been working on the shed the player will be visiting in the game, with a creepy basement/laboratory.

Modelling takes way too much time for me...

This isn't a game update, this is just something that I kind of need to write & post for myself more than anything else. P.S. As of now, this doesn't mean 3199's going anywhere yet, don't worry. Quite the contrary, I think.

I. HATE. MODELLING. BONES.

I'm so slow with this game... I got around to programming some of the "scares" in the game. You know when you shine a flashlight in an animal's eyes and this happens?

More work on the intro cutscene. How do you like the lighting & trees? Would have more to show, but it turns out that in my hiatus, I've completely forgotten how to use Blender haha.

Sorry I'm late this week, work's been getting more intense lately. Anyway, here's some baby dolls in a giant egg! ... I swear this will make sense in the context of the game.

Still working on that shed & basement, honestly those metal sheets are what's taking up the most time. Still have to texture everything, though...
