The clout, which generates a inverse of revenue, people are sugarcoating and censoring what would otherwise be entertaining and creative videos to appeal to a wider audiance just for what? some numbers in a bank account? youtube isnt what its like back in the old days, back then it was all fun and games, but now its all greed and capatilistic slop, cheap low effort videos made in a hasty time frame with regard for originality and soul, milking popular trends to the point where they are hated, one example being skibidi toilet, had it not gotten milked by content farms and idiotic tiktokers it woulve been just as memorable as those mlg compliations from 2012, a absurd yet interesting series about a bunch of silly and dumb gmod skits with lore sprinkled in, but due to those content farms and elsagate its now a hated entity by the public, calling it brainrot and shit, simmilar case to the cause of the problems, tiktok, what wouldve been a perfect reboot of vine became poisioned and hated by, itself, and its community, ranging from absurd censorship that plagued the internet as a whole to dumb life-threatining trends and challenges, tiktok left a nasty mark on the internet, a sign that vine, shouldve stayed open, same case with youtube shorts, since a majority of the content is just reuplaoded from tiktok, this resulted in the spread of its slop (like the infamous euphinsim that i complained about a few posts back, and the spread of gen-a terms like rizz, sigma, etc), youtube shorts and tiktok are responsible for the irrevesiable damage to youth, its the reason why many are calling gen-a cooked and or doomed, its all cause of the rise of short-form vertical content that can play on your phone, its all for the attention, the fame, and the money, with money being the driving force in all of this, these people are pumping out slop and shit for a quick buck.... ok come to think of it, those "gen-a terms" are no different than what we had back in 2012, history is repeating itself... i just realized that as i was finishing the write for this post, we're the millenials of today, and gen-a is the gen-z of today, and soon they will be the millenials of the future, and gen beta will most likely be the gen-z of the future, history has been repeating generation after generation, its not cause idiots are pushing out elsagate slop, well, partialiy, we've all been there, spewing out dank terms like "360-noscope" or "faze clan", its like saying terms like "fanum tax" or "only in ohio", we are just missing out on what we had back then, and are taking it out on the newer gen since they're enjoying their childhood dopamine and shit, same case with generational trauma, for melinials they had HTF, for us we had DHMIS and Salad Fingers, and for then Gen-A'ers, its elsagate, soon one day it will all faze out and become a relic of the past, god knows what gen-b trauma could look like, only time will tell...

welp i just spent a few minutes complaining about tiktok and shit and then it shifted into a conversaion about how gen-a is no different than us gen-z'ers, and all because i thought that there was no more kindness in this world, my brain is complex as hell.
