Okay, without getting into spoilers, FNaF 2 was AMAZING, a genuine improvement over the first in many ways as I'd hoped, but also managed to do a lot of unique things on its own.

Click the article, be warned it has SPOILERS!

The movie was fast-paced, and I think that was perfect. There was never a dull moment, and even if this doesn't make sense, they made this movie feel like you were watching it in five minutes. It's hard to describe but that's how it feels, and it's perfect. I will admit there probably could have been a few slower moments and some scenes could have been done a little better, but this is overall perfect. It doesn't have the same issue as the first movie, where the problem was that a lot of cool concepts were thrown out or never used, as well as it not being very faithful to the game. With that having been established already since then, the second movie was able to stand on its own a lot better.

The Withereds were cool, but it is very strange that they weren't the original mains from the FNAF 1 movie. Like... okay? It's a bit strange and leaves some questions like... are they just still there? Are they going to be brought up in the third final film at all, or do we just ignore their existence now? They could have easily been reworked into the five main characters from the first movie, having been shipped over there for [insert reason here] and then later be under the Puppet's control and then later being set free and all that or something, I don't know.

Something to note about the pacing: the movie really likes to pull those "a jumpscare is coming, you know it's going to happen but it's still going to get you because it's one of those jumpscares where the scene goes all quiet and BOOM!" It does that... A LOT. Thankfully, at least for me, I didn't find it repetitive or boring, thanks again to the pacing. It is fast and doesn't waste time, so there's no weird drawn-out escape with each jumpscare; it's perfect.

Overall, a great movie. I give it a 9/10. I can already see why this movie is already going to be labeled bad or mid on YouTube thumbnails. It's definitely again not up to the standard of us having wanted a more faithful series, but when you put that aside, it's an amazing, cheesy, horror series, and the third one oh boy I cannot wait for that!
