New character concept ~ The Hungry Ghost' younger sister - Formerly human, but became an angel after her death - Yuri Saigyouji (西行寺百合)

Having a human who is an incarnation of the Son of God is maybe a bit too extreme (and overpowered) for just a human protagonist. That character can be considered a "noob tube" of RPGs, since if the character's weapon proficiency does not work on the enemy they faces, then they just unleash their godly powers to make the enemies go "poof", and maybe those powers can destroy the world accidentally. And a human teen, as with all other humans, have no idea of knowing the exact strength of those godly powers... Even though they know many things about it.

Okay. Make it stop. I just spammed out a bunch of worthless sh*t up there. What I want to say is Mari's powers are so immense (due to being the powers of that of a persona of God) and having a vague description of what exactly it can do, so it's hard to know the extent of her powers, and a human (or even an arahitogami) with such abilities? Too OVERPOWERED.

Since Yuyuko is among the most popular Touhou characters, and being a ghost (or genrally a spiritual being), so I decided to create a fan-made character who is a relative of Yuyuko (you know, my specialization in making fanfics right now are making fan-made relatives for characters in established media franchises (I once did that when I'm still an MLP fan too)). So, Yuri Saigyouji is the result. The younger sister of Yuyuko Saigyouji (well, she is 5 years younger than Yuyuko, to be exact), she used to live with her sister happily, but after she converted to the in-series (fictional) Christianity-like religion, the Holy Order of the Divine Thaumaturgy, she and her sister entered a quarrel, with her sister criticised her of being a "traitor" and "heretic", and they never be the same happy siblings again. But that didn't put Yuri off, instead Yuri became good and merciful towards anyone who she encountered, and adhering strictly to the teachings of God. Yuyuko, once she discovered that, she became very mad at her sister, but since she cannot kill her sister with her knife (because she know the Cain and Abel story (?)), she decided to kill herself instead. Despite that tragic event, Yuri is still determined in life and decided to do good acts to people since then, and ultimately, when she died by falling from a mountain cliff, she became an angel after death. Despite has been existing for a very long time (almost 1000 years), her powers, which she gained posthumously, are still a bit half-baked, and she needs the guidance and training of a more powerful angel, in this case, Megumi (inarguably they are the most powerful angel and leads many other lesser angels). While Megumi and the other two members of the Angelic Triad are responsible for guiding the humans to solve numerous incidents on Earth, Yuri is tasked with a different task: To manage and tend the Garden of Heavenly Butterflies, which is where spirits of most of the blessed dead resides (except for the saints).

Okay. This will lead to another concept change for my fangame project, and the new concept of the series are quite complex. But one thing for sure: I will focus on making a single game instead of a series with multiple games, and like the Yume Nikki fangame Yume 2kki, updates will add into it ad infinitum even though the game is labelled "Complete", which add more content to the game and / or bug fixes. It will be a bit like an open-world game where there are no specific endings to the game; you can explore the game's world any way you like.
