Remember when I pretty much did a review on ori? This is that but w/ this.

(also I put this in ori games cuz the community is dead, it gives ori vibes, and it's my community and I can do what I want.)

Anyways...

1.Overview

Basically, Omno is an indie game made by Inkyfox studio's. Like ori, the game looks cool, and has a similar feel. Unlike ori however, there's no fighting. Which is kinda refreshing cuz 90% of games I ply have fighting. It's just a puzzle game w/ some cool features. I managed 2 complete in about 2 days, so it's pretty dang short. But what's the plot? It's...a bit messy, but I can try.

2.Plot

Basically, I have 2 theories 4 what the plot is, because there's no dialogue or words on the screen. Well, besides the glyphs, but those r pretty messy 2. Plus, those r sorta what I'm going off of.

(also, here's what the plot is w/out the glyphs.

You're a thing called a "staffbearer" who can harness "the light". You want 2 go to a portal of light following the remains of...onion kind as the staffbearers before guided people to there so that they can live in a better world.)

Theory 1

Basically, along w/ the glyphs, u get 2 see these weird rock book things thru the adventure. The first one says something along the lines of "So my pilgramage begins. I will leave these behind for those who wish to follow me." My theory is that Omno is following the remains of a former society who was convinced that the light was the way, and those book things were left behind by one of them.

Theory 2

Later after that bit at the start, there's another book that says: "It feels like yesterday when people still walked these bridges", which implies that the books was written after the pilgramage. Also lines like "We were blinded by the light" or "We had it all, and we were too blind to see it", later in the game, imply that Omno is writing these. My theory is that Omno was on the first pilgramage and left early, and is either writing these now or wrote some before. I like this theory as that starting book also says "It appears I am alone on my journey." Also, 1 of the last few books also say "I must know what has become of my people."

Now, granted, I haven't collected all the book glyphs yet, but I've collected most of them. So I'm going off what I found.

Ok, I think I've put in enough space 4 ya not 2 see them.

Anyways, here's the ending

During the journey, you find a weird green floating squirrel thing. U...technically become friends w/ it during ur short adventure. At the end, u come face 2 face w/ the portal. u want 2 go thru, but squirrel guy doesn't. Just as u want 2 go thru, u have an epiphany. U realize that it wasn't worth it 2 leave all of this behind. U decide 2 go back w/ squirrel guy. Then, the camera goes thru the portal, and it ends up...

...at the start of the game.

I immediately realized what it meant. That this world was the perfect world. Or they just wanted 2 have a cool background 4 the credits. Oh well.

4.Rating

This game is great. The graphics r minimal, but amazing. The gameplay is awesome, and it just feels like a cool game.

I give it a 9/10.

If u want 2 ply it, well, I don't know the price, or if it's available on PC, but I know it's on xbox game pass. That's how I plyed it.

See ya.

Credits to @1zuku_Deku_midoria184 ...even if he doesn't use this site anymore. I COULD give context to what this is for...and I won't.

Ori from Ori And The Blind Forest and Ori And The Will Of The Wisp

Something I animated that I can't give context for. Very sorry about that, hope you enjoy regardless

here's my first pixel art. it couldn't save, so i had to screenshot it.

Here is a GIF I made. You can also see the new shading and some other stuff I made.

Something I made yesterday. Basically, an fnf idle sprite that I refuse to give context for.

Yeah, the hair was kinda an afterthought in this one.

Funny how I can make a good sprite by taking a pre-existing sprite and adding to it. Funny how that works out. (I recreated the Sonic 2 sprites, they don't use the original palettes.)
