what i would change in my own take:

her whole ass design

and maybe small lore things

in my take her last form will look more like peach rather then goth except im going for a more uncanny valley like feel so her dress looks like skin and her face may not change expression as well as her mouth being in a permanent smile and her voice comes echoed from her eyes since they are kind of like holes carved into her face im trying to make damsel more approachable for lucas without dropping the horror aesthetic

so i may drop a couple features about this form so shes more approachable for lucas

the reason why i want to make her approachable is becouse lucas is a child and i dont think damels current design makes lucas think shes friendly ( at least her final form )

now onto lore changes

damsel at least attacked lucas once wich i found weird for a soul trying to help lucas

so in this retake ill make it so that damsel's soul is very unstable this causes her to gain sudden hunger pangs

she mostly eats the enemies seen in the many levels of the original super mario bros but if she cant find one quickly she will eat people she cares about just to stop her hunger

she will cry about it afterward and as a sorry she leaves power ups at the start for lucas

my take can make more power ups then just a mushroom but they take more power

she can make a 1 up mushroom and a fire flower but that takes more effort then a normal mushroom

no star becouse that would be too op

her voice also somehow changes to fit the peach voice from mario 64 for some reason but heavily distorted in her last form

and yes her soul is unstable thats also why shes able to change forms in her peach vessel

basically when she got dragged in she was stuck in the minus world causing her soul to get remnants of mx's true form this causes her to be able to transform make power ups and causes her to have sudden hunger

her hunger is easier to appear when shes in her final form for too long

damsel likes to give lucas a cake on his birthday meaning despite being in this world lucas can still have that special day ( most of the cakes do taste awfull tho )

things might change in the future btw

also reminder im not hating on the original damsel or her creator i dont hate them im simply doing this becouse i dont like damsels design this doesnt mean i hate damsel herself or duffy gamejolt stop trying to pull drama out of your ass
