One thing I realized is that I've been making games with a focus on creative quality—like production values and nice effects—rather than balancing aspects like difficulty (read article)


Well, this game might have had some issues with difficulty scaling and such, but I like it for staying true to Legacy Thanatos and making it nearly playable.

While it was particularly noticeable in Papyrus Encounter, my games might be more enjoyable to watch in videos or similar formats, thinking of them as animations, rather than actually playing them.
