Did u know that gender is a social construct, and what’s ’in between your legs’ is your sex, not gender. Gender ≠ sex. CHECKMATE, I WIN HOMOPHOBES! There’s two sexes, male and female. Some say it’s 3 cuz of intersex, though I don’t count intersex cuz…it’s just a mix of both usually. But yeah, intersex is a thing too. Gender is basically a thing society made to say ‘u r a boy, u r like this, that, u must be this’ and vice versa! You can identify yourself anyway you want. It’s like non binaries for example! Since gender is kind of a spectrum I guess. Non binaries AREN’T STRICTLY a boy or girl.

And while we’re already here, asexual and aromantic and aroace are spectrums too! U can be asexual and pansexual at the same time. Just like blindness is a spectrum, some blind can see a little bit, just not too well (little sexual/romatic attraction), and some are just blind (no sexual/romantic attraction). So yeah. Don’t be a bigot and shame someone for these things, understand these basic things, specifically the gender and sex sentences. It’s not that hard. There’s someone out there who’s 49 and doesn’t understand the stuff I’m talking about here, thinking that there’s only two genders and you have to be what you were born as. It’s respect.

Another thing is how I notice a lot of the black community (before I get into this, I’m black myself just so you know) is homophobic. “I don’t understand why two men or two women should be together, it’s so dumb!” You know that the European colonizers and slave owners kinda thought like that too. They didn’t understand why we were black and different and killed us, made us do their labor, etc. Aren’t we against others saying the n-word and discriminating towards us, yet we are also discriminating against another group (LGBTQ). Hypocritical I say. That’s like understanding 2+2=4 and not 2x2=4!!! Silly silly silly. I hate to live in a world like this. I know I can’t do anything, so I’ll just live by best life. I hope for change, but hope wouldn’t work is just DEAD. Luckily we have a lot of other folks fighting for this type of change as well, so it’s not entirely a lost cause :)
