Stuff Is Happening
I was reading the Deltarune newsletter (which is out, by the way) and I thought to myself
"Damn dude, hurry up! I'm not sure I can wait much longer..." Then realized that possibly someone could feel that way about Orange Edition. Unlikely, but it is possible... So I've decided to work harder. Real progress is about to get made, pretty much all of the foundational work is done, so all that's left is the last of Area 2, (all) of Area 3 and revising Area 1. The game is still scheduled to come out before 2026, that gives me about 3 months. I think that's do-able.

New Sprites
They are new and you can look at them. Some sprites have been omitted because they were:
A. Too saucy
B. Too secret

The Two Modes (as foretold in the prophecy)
ORANGE MODE: I've talked alot about orange mode I'm sure. It's an optional mode compatible with pain mode that adds in every stupid idea I've ever had for this mod. Expect to see new "quality" party members, questionable items, and a whole lot of that "terrorist" guy.
PAIN MODE: Pain mode is also receiving alot of changes, some areas are completely different, new encounters, even just small dialouge changes. I always thought pain mode should be a different experience from base game, just something to kick you a few more times while you're down. I can't post images of it because it's secret but there's a new pain-ified base game area called "The Dead Forest"

Wrap-Up & Thank You Note
I've been at this whole game development thing for two years now. It started with this game called "Face Dancer" and like all indie games it got 5 downloads and it wasn't very good. Then I made the first version of Orange Edition. It was also not very good. But seriously, thank you to everyone who's stuck by me, even when the games are buggy and sprites are middling at best.
