I keep overworking myself (yikes). Kinda worrying how I get pain that makes me feel like I could be at risk for Carpal Tunnel. Many hours of editing or drawing gets painful. :( Really does feel like it being smashed with a hammer.

As an artist, I also have to find the right balance of taking breaks. God, I used to draw for hours on into the night with no problem. After last semester though, with the high demands on playing penciler, inker, color artist, and letterer, I really pushed myself beyond my limits. Kinda burned myself out. One of my classmates ending up suffering from Carpal Tunnel and struggled in the final weeks. I ended up in pain for over a week.

If you're reading this, make sure to always make time for yourself and never neglect your needs. Be kind to yourself because you are important. <3 Stay healthy, drink water, and get some fresh air. ^_^

Regarding your hands, be sure to exercise your muscles and don't have them fixed in one position for so long without movement. Also take care of your eyes! Take breaks often to avoid eye strain and blurred vision.
