Scared ghosts with their normal colors are leftover unused sprites in Pac-Man Friends. Scared ghosts only appear in the classic blue and white colors.

There are leftover panel sprites in Pac-Man Friends. They were likely meant to be used for the unused Laser Pac-Man.

Pac-Man Tamagotchi is the first original LCD game in the franchise for years. The game preceding it is Li'l Pac-Man. However it never released past a test marketing phase disqualifying it, making Pac-Junior the previous game.

The Galaxians were used in Pac-Man only because the developers were running out of items to use.
