Patch 1.3.0 overview and changelog (article):


Sooo... patch 1.2.0 was supposed to fix a bunch of things, it fixed a bunch, but also left a few important things I thought I've fixed, still bugged. So yep... Here we are in another patch...
To not make it totally just-fixes-and-only fixes, I've rebalanced a few things too.

FIXES:

  • Fixed people who disconnected not dissappearing from the list for non-server persons

  • Fixed the spectator not being able to see other people (this time for real, tested throughly)

NEW FEATURES/REBALANCES:

  • To make it easier for 7+ player games, overall of 6 keys will now spawn (previously 3). I eventually will want to make they key amount be dependent on how many people are on a server, but I don't have a system for it yet, so here's a temporary solution.

  • Added a brightness preference setting

  • Added tips on the "waiting for others to join" screen

  • Doors are now hearable for a smaller range, and lifts are now hearable for a bigger range.

  • Removed the "dagerous" zone of the voice chat's volume. Using a volume set over a safe zone would lead to the voices being distorted, so I've decided that it's not needed to keep it in.

With that out of the way, the game should probably finally start feeling stable. As always, if you encounter issues, hit me up, either here or on Discord (preferably on Discord though).

Next up

People at Gamejolt have fixed the build upload server. The latest release of FP (v8.0.1) can now be downloaded directly! Hope you enjoy the new voicechat, sound design & mechanics! Join the game's Discord server to chat with us if you're not there yet!

A lot of you wanted this and it's finally coming soon! Once changed, you'll be able to click your Q once and your voice transmission will stay on (until you click it again). Each playes chooses for themselves whether they'd like this enabled.

I've learned a lot over the course of Forgotten Pizzeria's development.

And yes, this post means update soon (-ish).

Not a lot of features- but better network & CPU performance via implementation of the MVVM programming pattern.

A sneaky peeky at what's to come to FNaF Forgotten Pizzeria Multiplayer soon enough

FNaF: FP v8.0 releases! Read the patchnotes in-game. The auto-updater may fail partially -> you'll get a 'temp' folder and that contains the newest version. Gamejolt servers are still kinda down... So you can only rely on the auto-updater for now.

A guide to getting v8.0 running (updated for v8.0.1): - Start the autoupdater on v7.0.2 (currently gamejolt-downloadable) - Launch once it updates. Once gamejolt fixes their servers, 8.0 will become downloadable directly from here.
