Patch 5.1.0 is live

Some bugs and logical flaws were left behind after release. I have now made a patch to eradicate said bugs.

Read on for the patch notes.


Patch Notes 5.1.0

  • Fixed an issue causing Mephi to say his untranslated sentence when trying to enter areas which are not meant to be visited at that point in time

  • Fixed an issue involving the formation option, when Ben was made leader and the forest was passed without getting caught.

  • Corrected a translation issue where the bag in the forest's house was stated as a barrel

  • Trophy Alerts for "Curse of The Tails Doll", "I AM GOD", and "Dead Hill Zone" should now show their trophy icon when awarded

  • Fixed translation for gaining the Yu-Gi-Oh Card of Suicide Mouse

  • Improved the event on Day 4, when you are unable to leave the room in the theater after encountering Squidward Suicide due to it being locked from outside

  • Corrected Lance's dialogue on Day 5

  • Fixed an issue causing Smile.dog's section in the Boss Rush Mode to be way too dark.

  • Switched the camera for the final confrontation over to Ben if he survived since he was made leader on Day 6.

  • Fixed an issue causing Sally to say her untranslated sentence when trying to enter the theater from above without having gotten to Day 4 first.

  • The forest will no longer be accessible after Day 2 unless the good/neutral ending has been achieved. Sally/Mephi will notify you about it on Day 3/4. This will lock you out of getting the necessary medal contributing to the gold one if you hadn't collected the medal beforehand. (If you collected the medals prior to this one, you will still be able to get it but once you get to the end of Day 2, you will no longer be able to get it if you missed them). This also prevents the bug of the Day 2 Encounter in the forest to repeat itself. (It was left in the game's original code and to be honest I haven't noticed it until I was notified. Thanks @LucaAntinori1 ) (If you saved in the forest after Day 2, you will still be able to leave but...make it quick!) (It's a logical solution to this problem because why would you go back in if it's haunted?)

  • The Trophy "Perfect Balance" was made a bit easier to achieve since optional decisions and events should no longer count towards the score only the important ones which are unavoidable. If you do however pass those optional decisions or events, they may provide some safety in case you make mistakes and still get the trophy.

  • Fixed an issue causing the Black Hill Zone Music to replay even if it should fade out after the Sonic.exe Jumpscare. The music now only triggers after entering it from town and after the Sonic.exe Chase.
