Patch + Level Editor (maybe)

First off, I hit 1000 views (and it’s still going up) and thank you all for the great comments and ratings. I also recently noticed that the block puzzles are sort of broken. You weren’t supposed to be able to push blocks unless you were on solid ground. If these puzzles seemed easy, that’s unfortunately why. I did patch it, but it might be a little late. I guess it isn’t a terrible thing though. A lot of people probably wouldn’t have beaten it without that bug. So ehhhhhh… whatever.

Also, would anyone use a level editor if I were to make one? Because I won’t do it unless people actually want one. I sort of want to move on to the next project, but if there’s someone(s) that wants it, I can do it (maybe).

Wonder if anyone can guess what kinda game I'm working on right now with this GameJolt session data as the only clue. I bet someone can sleuth it out!

Menu system of the future! #Nojong

I'm developing a new commercial game with a small team! A demo will be coming to steam soon, but you can wishlist it in the meantime if you're into deckbuilding / autobattlers / roguelikes!

I'm currently making a Tetris + Mahjong hybrid game called #Nojong. Match colored blocks in the field to make clears. After a number of clears, the blocks left in your hand are scored, so you want to try and keep triples and quadruples in your hand.

Nojong, an arcade mashup of Tetris and Mahjong is out now!

For some reason, it's really hard to change the alpha value of a tile layer in GameMaker. You can do this easily for sprite or instance layers, but not tile layers. So here's a video on how to easily update the alpha value of tile layers in real time.

Some awesome fanart from Zyalin! https://twitter.com/Zyalin_Art

Coming Soon! #Nojong
