Movie Review #4

I watch this movie with RaveDan so you didn't have to. I'm not a huge fan of PAW Patrol but I actually liked the first movie and as such, I kind of had the idea that this movie doesn't really need a sequel or prequel at this point but here we are, the sequel is now out and the main question for my opinion is does it manage to be at least as good as the first one? No.

This movie is hella mid and kind of boring to me in my opinion. I know this is a kid movie and it is not really for childless but the reason why I watched this movie because again, I actually like the first movie because there's a lot of good thing that kid movie should do and it sucks that they did not with this one.

I was not expect this movie was focus around with uh..a pink thing dog named Skye which is fine for me because I really don't want a sequel focus on Chase again like The Addams Family animated movie which I don't think you guys get it but I can tell in the comments.

The story is just boring decent, it's basically a group of six resuce dogs and a boy has adventures work together to protect the city and community and they magically gain superpowers after a meteor strikes and as the team, they went into action to save the city, pretty much a simple superhero movie and it was another just a mid.

I hate about this movie is the main antagonist named Victoria "Vee" Vance and she just show up out of nowhere and I'm not sure if she was appear first in a tv show. I'm not a fan of her plan about obsessed with meteors. Something that I noticed is that a voice actor for her is just so off especially with her mouth on the animation, it look like she don't know how to speak.

Another thing I hated about this movie is the pacing is just so off and I feel like they want to put Skye as kind of main character to make this movie longer by backstory and the pacing felt so rushed that make me feel my balls pain and that's a huge problem with these sequel movie.

There's nothing like that in this because it's so slow that they have to cram everything and I don't have any flesh inside me, it did not enough developed enough for this movie and that's really lame. It shouldn't have been focus more than just superpowers stuff.

The first movie is an example what I wanted for a kid movie with feel for someone who being sad or fear and Chase did DO something to learn and I want new movie to stay who it is and when they did something like that, it makes the ending so much better. In this movie, you don't feel anything with these emotion and the villain is literally there to ruin anything with a character that we focus on.

I liked how the first movie was because a character that we focus so much throughout the film is so much stronger when he goes learn from fear of height to a hero that never give up. I was disappointed with this movie and the last thing is that I've actually never watch a tv show so that's why my opinion is different.

Overall, this movie is mid and disappointing but this is an kid movie so I really don't blame if these child like this movie.
