Penguinmod's packager has the option to add a pause button. Is this something you'd like to have in 1.0?

Subtitles are coded in! We're getting close... 
Even tho Fred and Pals is getting some good reviews, the game is pretty fragile.
It occurs that it crashes when it's loading assets or crashing in - game.
I'm terribly sorry for that, for now, I don't know a solution for this
